A 28-year-old Washington Heights man was charged with domestic battery after he was arrested at the Skylark Motel, 5435 S. Archer, at 7:38 a.m. Tuesday, March 23.
Da’Michael Donta Stewart-Collier, of the 10000 block of South May, allegedly punched a 26-year-old woman in the face during an argument in a motel room.
According to public records, Stewart-Collier has been arrested three times by CPD since 2019 on charges that included possession of a replica firearm, obstructing identification, battery and theft.

A 39-year-old man was charged with domestic battery after he was arrested in the 3600 block of West 54th Street at 11:50 p.m. Friday, March 26.
Jose A. Quezada allegedly grabbed a 38-year-old woman and threw her on a bed during an argument.

A 27-year-old man from suburban Justice was charged with violating an order of protection after he was arrested in the 7000 block of West 63rd Street at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, March 27.
Roberto A. Ocampo, of the 0-100 block of Ironwood Drive, allegedly double parked in from of the home of a 25-year-old woman and tried to make contact with her, a CPD spokesman said.

A 37-year-old McKinley Park man was charged with domestic battery after he was arrested in the 4700 block of South Pulaski at 7:53 p.m. Saturday, March 27.
Justin W. Kasper, of the 3300 block of South Seeley, allegedly pushed a 21-year-old woman to the ground and punched her in the head during an argument.
According to public records, Kasper has been arrested four times by CPD since 2016 on charges that included criminal trespass to a residence, criminal damage to property, driving on a revoked license and using a cellphone while driving.

A 24-year-old Archer Heights man was charged with domestic battery after he was arrested at 47th and Knox at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, March 28.
Brian A. Pila, of the 4600 block of West 47th Street, allegedly punched a 26-year-old woman in the face, causing a cut near her eye.
The victim was transported to St. Anthony Hospital, where she was treated and released.

A 28-year-old Ford City woman was charged with battery and criminal damage to property after she was arrested in the 4600 block of South Ashland at 11:49 a.m. Monday, March 22.
Crystal M. Youssef, of the 4200 block of West 76th Street, allegedly threw a cup of coffee at a Dunkin’ Donuts drive-through worker near 43rd and Ashland and then drove around and damaged the front of the building, a CPD spokesman said.
According to public records, Youssef was arrested by CPD in 2017 near 68th and Artesian and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

A 27-year-old Garfield Ridge man was charged with aggravated assault after he was arrested at his home in the 5900 block of West 55th Street at 9:32 p.m. Sunday, April 4.
Jorge J. Molina allegedly threatened and tried to spit on officers responding to a “domestic disturbance” call.
According to public records, Molina was arrested by CPD in July 2019 near 38th and Honore and charged with assault and reckless conduct.

A 34-year-old Rockford-area man was charged with obstruction of traffic by a non-motorist after he was arrested near Archer and Harlem at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, March 31. Jonathan D. Vasseur, of the 2400 block of Windsor Road in Loves Park, allegedly was spotted standing in the roadway, soliciting motorists for money. A computer check also revealed that Vasseur was wanted on a warrant, although a CPD spokesman declined to describe the nature of the warrant or what jurisdiction it was issued from.

A 39-year-old West Lawn man was charged with aggravated assault after he was arrested in the 5800 block of South Kilbourn at 10:05 p.m. Friday, April 2.
Antonio Ortiz, of the 6000 block of South Kilbourn, allegedly threatened a woman during a fender bender near 50th and Cicero on March 26, a CPD spokesman said, adding that Ortiz allegedly pulled up his shirt and flashed a handgun in his waistband.

An 18-year-old West Elsdon man was charged with disorderly conduct and assault after he was arrested near his home in the 5600 block of South Kildare at 3:18 p.m. Saturday, April 3.
Jesus M. Lopez allegedly approached police officers responding to an unrelated call and started threatening them, a CPD spokesman said without elaborating.

A 31-year-old Vittum Park man was charged with aggravated battery after he was arrested at his home in the 5000 block of South Lamon at 6:43 p.m. Friday, April 2.
Christian Diaz allegedly used a knife to stab a 24-year-old man repeatedly during an argument and was apprehended by police responding to a “battery in progress” call.
A CPD spokesman did not comment on the condition of the victim.

A 21-year-old Woodlawn man was charged with domestic battery after he was arrested in the 5200 block of South Pulaski at 11:27 a.m. Sunday, April 4.
Ishmael E. Lofton, of the 6000 block of South Indiana, allegedly choked a 19-year-old woman during an argument, causing redness around her neck.
According to public records, Lofton was arrested by CPD in April 2019 near 61st and King Drive and charged with gambling and criminal trespass to land.
Bust Burbank motorist after crash |

A 29-year-old man from suburban Burbank was charged with DUI after he was arrested in the 5200 block of South Knox at 1:45 a.m. Monday, April 5.
Joseph A. Medina, of the 8500 block of South Massasoit, allegedly was driving a vehicle when it crashed into a parked car and then a fire hydrant.
He then bolted from the vehicle and was apprehended after a brief foot chase, a CPD spokesman said.
Medina also was charged with failure to carry a driver’s license and driving an uninsured vehicle.
