At 8:06 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, Alejandro Rodriguez, of the 3500 block of West 58th Place, "was identified as the offender in a vehicular hijacking that occurred on March 6 at approximately 9:13 p.m. in the 3500 block of West 60th Street."
Police said that Rodriguez "approached the victim, a 43-year-old delivery driver, implied a weapon and fled in the victim's vehicle."
Rodriguez is due in court today.
According to public records, Rodriguez has been arrested four times by CPD since 2017 on charges that included reckless conduct assault and robbery.
