We were fortunate that photographer Steve Neuhaus was on hand to capture some sights and sounds of the action, as boys and girls, moms and dads celebrated on Saturday, April 25 in and around Archer Park. The rain was no fun, but hey, it will make the grass that much greener---and besides, plenty of sunny days are on their way for our local boys and girls, as well as moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, and everyone else who enjoys baseball and softball in around Archer Heights and West Elsdon, two of Chicago's best neighborhoods to be a kid.
We wish all players, coaches, managers, parents and grandparents a season filled with fun and good sportsmanship.
