Scottsdale resident Sean Wedel, a junior at St.
Laurence High School in Burbank, was one of 50 students who successfully donated blood at the school's second blood drive of the 2013-14 school year, held Tuesday, March 18 in the school library.
The school used the services of LifeSource, Chicagoland’s Blood Center.
“It was a worthwhile and a successful
day. Our school family always responds to the need,” said Laura Baldwin, the
school’s activities director.
“I wanted to help out when I heard
we were having this blood drive,” Wedel said.
“I’m happy to see that many of my classmates participated, too.”
