Central Chapel Service Honors the Dear Departed Loved Ones, Comforts the Living

November is a time of giving thanks, but also a time of remembrance.

Recently, a service of remembrance was hosted by Central Chapel, 6158 South Central.

The Southwest Chicago Post was there with cameras.

At 30-plus minutes, our video is a lot longer than we had anticipated----but it contains some profound and very useful advice on grieving and recovery, two well-chosen songs performed beautifully, and an appropriately respectful remembrance of people who have died in the past year or so.

We thank everyone at Central Chapel for allowing us to witness this service---yet another reminder that local funeral directors play an important role in the life and well being of the community.
